Our First meet up date and venue

any dates yet for next meeting?

Did you phone people?, better to talk as not every one on computer website

As I haven't heard anything from anyone regarding specific dates for the next meet up I'll wait until we've all finished with Krimbo stuff...

I'll post here again early NEW YEAR, once I find out what I'm doing myself...

Anyone got a fave date/time/venue for the next meeting before Krimbo.....?

Has anything been decided on way forward yet?

Just to reply to Colin's idea - a regular pub meet sounds like a good idea to me. It was good to meet up with people at the Workshop's 'debut'. Maybe every two weeks, with no commitment as such - an informal 'come along if you can'?

Just a suggestion, as no body seems to be replying on this forum why dont you contact them by phone to find out who is still interested. Then you can get their opinions also re meetings and rehearsal

Thinking on...I feel it might be prudent to have regular 'chats/meet ups' say at a pub...maybe fortnightly or once a month...I seek your opinion regarding this period...?

Further to chats/meetings, we could also have a few rehearsal sessions in between, although of course these would be bespoke to whoevers up for playing, as opposed to chatting...
e.g guitarists would probably be up for it while others might need a more specific set up, that will come as we get new members here...?

Terry has been in contact with a potential rehearsal venue at a reasonable cost...we need to know when members might be available to use a venue?...e.g. some of us are available day time while others plainly work...the venue needs dates and timescales etc

Could you please contact me on here with your own preferences so we can sort something out for the near future!

We have a couple more members wanting to attend the next meet up so watch this space for date/venue... It'll be in a week or so, so please bear with me in the mean time...

For those member as yet not familiar with how this forum works...its easy to post your own comment by clicking onto either the topic title (e.g. discussion etc) OR click onto the tiny square box by the posters name (NOT ON the name though)...
Another way is to click on "PM" found in 'memberlist' a column to the right...clicking this will allow a member to send a personal message only available to the member chosen. If YOU are receiving a persona message (PM) then it will be indicated right at the top header bar...("You have a new message etc"

Well, we had half a dozen of us show up for the very first meet up last night where we all had a good natter....

Thank you so much to all who attended...

I feel that we have a basis to go forward and progress our TMW group so now we need a few more participants and a venue to use for rehearsals...some of those present agree to look up local venues and get back to us here on this forum so.... watch this space..?

Our very first meet up date is 7:30 pm on Wednesday 11th November 2015 at "The Ship" in  Kirby-le-Soken.
Future dates times and venues will be set as and when.
